Amanda Ariawan is a curator, writer, and cultural practitioner. She obtained her Master’s in Contemporary Art Exhibition Production from Université de Lille 3, France, with research that examined the local, global, and identity issues within Asian contemporary art. Since then, her roles in the arts have varied from gallery management, independent curatorial practice, to museology. Amanda is equipped with research and writing skills; outside of curating contexts, she actively contributes essays. Through her works, she hopes to amplify the voices of Southeast Asian artists, enable engaging and accessible experiences of viewing arts and objects within museums, as well as offer local perspectives to global issues.
