In 2024, the Institute of Art Indonesia, Yogyakarta hosted a lecture for its Master’s program, where Amanda shared her insights, experiences, and perspectives about curatorial practice, research, and writing. In her reflections on her previous experiences and work in Indonesia, Malaysia, and France, Amanda demonstrated how her practice of writing, research, and curatorial practice are interconnected throughout her projects and are inseparable in the art industry. Amanda also emphasised the importance and benefit of writing and conducting research within the practice of art-making in order to create a solid foundation for a profound, meaningful, and complex body of work.
